Miyawaki forests grow 10–30 times faster than conventional plantations, enabling rapid carbon absorption. They capture more CO₂ in a shorter span due to their dense, multilayered vegetation. These mini-forests improve air quality, reduce urban heat, and act as natural carbon sinks. By restoring native biodiversity, they strengthen ecosystems that naturally regulate carbon cycles. Even in small urban spaces, Miyawaki forests help offset carbon footprints sustainably.

As studies recommend, London Institute of Skills Development in collaboration of The Royal Club has sponsored numerous Miyawaki forests with several regional NGOs in Madagascar, Pakistan, Brazil and Kenya the following map refers to LISD-TRC sponsored urban forestation.

SERVING THE SOCIETY - ENVIRONMENTAL, SOCIAL & (CORPORATE) GOVERNANCE - BUILDING SUSTAINABLE FUTURES FOR BUSINESSES

The UK has the potential to lead the world in green innovation. We have a strong economic base, and a legal and policy framework designed to ensure we reach net zero emissions by 2050. To reach those targets and address our shared environmental challenges, businesses must play a leadership role.

Green Innovation Challenge Report 2023 U.K has drawn on expertise from businesses of all sizes and sectors, academia, and think tanks, to develop a series of ambitious and realistic proposals that, if adopted by policymakers, can form the blueprint for accelerating our net zero transition. Environmental, social and governance (ESG) is a framework used to assess an organization’s business practices and performance on various sustainability and ethical issues. Through The Royal Club (TRC) memberships and events we are intended to pass that knowledge to the other parts of the world.
