GLOBAL LEADERSHIP ROUND TABLE ON THE UNITED NATION- SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS
Expressions of interest
are invited from prospective participants, nominators, institutional collaborators and strategic partners.
From Recognition to Responsibility
Global Leadership Round Table at Harvard University, U.S. represents a shift from ceremonial acknowledgement to collective responsibility. It will provide a focused environment in which influential leaders can examine what their institutions are doing, identify what must change and establish the partnerships needed to accelerate progress.
The ultimate value of the gathering will not be measured by the number of speeches delivered or professional titles represented. It will be measured by the commitments made, actions implemented, partnerships established and lives positively affected.
Important notice: All potential academic or institutional partnerships remain subject to formal confirmation.
Convened by The Royal Club U.K., this distinguished one-day gathering will bring together approximately 50 carefully selected leaders, The Round Table will unite senior figures from government, business, academia, investment, finance, technology, energy, healthcare, education, law, diplomacy, non-governmental organisations, international development and youth leadership.
Theme: Leadership Beyond Commitment: Turning the UN SDGs into Institutional Action
The United Nations Sustainable Development framework comprises 17 Sustainable Development Goals and 169 targets, forming an interconnected global agenda for building a more inclusive, equitable, peaceful and sustainable world by 2030.
Every participating leader will be encouraged to leave the Round Table with:
- A specific commitment aligned with at least one UN Sustainable Development Goal;
- A clearly defined institutional action;
- Measurable targets and indicators;
- A realistic implementation timeline;
- Potential cross-sector partners; and
- An accountability mechanism through which progress can be assessed.
